Paste your randomised trial report. See where each of the 30 items is reported and which are missing, then copy the checklist into Word.
Paste your trial report, get the CONSORT 2025 checklist pre-filled
Paste the whole manuscript. We look for where each of the 30 items is reported and show you the sentence, so you can check it and copy the finished checklist into Word. We check that the wording is there, not that it is good.
No account for your first result. Your text is read by fixed rules, not an AI model, and we do not keep it.
What changed from CONSORT 2010 and which items reviewers check most is in the CONSORT 2025 guide. Writing the protocol first? Use the SPIRIT 2025 checklist.
Questions
What changed in CONSORT 2025?
Seven new items (among them data sharing, conflicts of interest, patient and public involvement, how harms were assessed, and a definition of each analysis population), a new open science section, three revised items and one deleted. The checklist now has 30 items.
Can I still use the CONSORT 2010 checklist?
Journals are moving to CONSORT 2025, published in April 2025. For a manuscript submitted now, use 2025.
Does a match mean the item is reported well?
No. A match shows where the wording is, so you can check it and fill in the page number. Not found means none of the usual wording was seen; the item may be there in other words.
Is my manuscript stored?
No. It is read by fixed rules, not an AI model, and not kept.
