Pricing
Priced for people on a stipend, and for the labs they work in
Start free, with the numerical reliability audit included on every tier. Upgrade when your thesis needs more than a taste, or licence the whole lab for less than a single Prism seat.
KyroStat is free while we are in beta. Every feature below is unlocked today and no card is required. These are the prices that will apply when billing starts — we are showing them now so nothing about the cost is a surprise later. Accounts created during the beta keep their access when it ends.
For individual researchers
Every tier includes the reliability audit, APA 7 output, both engines, and the generated Python and R. The paid tiers buy volume, then collaboration.

For labs and departments
One licence for the whole group
Everyone in the lab gets unlimited analyses, shared projects, and an admin console, on a single annual invoice. At $1,500 for 10 people that is $150 per person per year — below GraphPad Prism’s academic group rate, and it includes the admin console, EU data residency and priority support that Prism’s group tier does not.
It is deliberately one flat number rather than a per-seat total, because the question a PI actually has to answer is whether this can go on a card without raising a purchase order. It can.

Questions about cost
- My university already gives me SPSS. Why pay anything?
- If SPSS covers your work, use it. KyroStat earns its place when you are not certain which test your design calls for, when you need the effect size and confidence interval SPSS does not report, or when you want the p-value checked against the test statistic before a journal’s statcheck run does it for you. That audit is free on every tier, including Free.
- What happens to my work if I stop paying?
- Your projects stay readable and exportable. Dropping to Free limits how many new tests you can run each month; it does not lock up analyses you have already done or reports you have already generated.
- Can I expense a lab licence without a purchase order?
- That is exactly why it is priced as one flat annual figure. Most institutions set the purchase-order threshold well above it — UC San Diego’s card limit is $4,999, for instance — so a PI can usually approve it directly. We invoice if your finance office prefers that.
